We think that when you see our large display of
Blessing Baskets you’ll want some for yourself and
you’ll also want to share the bounty with others.
Carry your groceries in a Blessing Basket, decorate
your home with them or give them to your loved
ones. Remember: Mother’s Day is coming.
Blessing Baskets are truly special. Founded in 2004 by
Teresa and Bryan Wilson of Edwardsville, Illinois, the
Blessing Basket Project is a non-profit organization
dedicated to providing resources to the world’s
poorest nations. Blessing Basket pays the artisans
prosperity wages that are at least 2.5 times what they
can make in their own marketplace.
The Project offers hope and dignity to the artisans,
not charity, by sharing their heritage through their
remarkable talent. The Blessing Basket project offers
an opportunity to end the vicious cycle of poverty.
By purchasing a gorgeous, affordable basket from
Blessing Basket, you are empowering families around
the world. Every basket comes with a card signed
by the artisan. Each tag is assembled locally by the
adults with disabilities at New Opportunities (NOP)
in Granite City, Illinois.
